Saved me tons of time. Remove Advertisements Sponsored Links. That is not to say there is no reason for it not working, just a matter of figuring out how to get the driver to run, if it will. Hopefully I will get there in the end.
You are logged in as. Eye-toy as Webcam for Windows 8, bit. Have you donwloaded the zip file with the driver in it? Promote cracked software, or other illegal content. Might be something to do with secure boot, which needs removing before this will work?
It also did not require nearly as many sketchy steps. Worth checking you did have an Administrator Command Prompt and not a normal one read further down.

Yes I downloaded the files from your link above. My thanks to the original driver file hackers and six columns for the enforcement windowe, putting the two together just extended the life of my various eyetoy cams. Current Temperatures Take II.

A fine set of the updated PC driver files for eyetoyy Sony Eyetoy camera. This is achieved by turning off the Driver Enforcement, installing the driver, then when successful, turning Driver Enforcement back on.
I ignored that and got it to run with things like skype. I need some help… Whenever I type winndows either of the commands into the Administrator Command Prompt, I get this message: So, it will not let me install the driver, even after it has found the driver, because it feels dangerous, and I cannot bypass it or, at least I do not know how ….
